Sideshow Collectibles 1:6 General Hawk 12-inch Figure PREVIEW

Code Name: HAWK [ MISSILE COMMANDER ]

When the G.I.JOE team was being formed, Brigadier General Clayton Abernathy became the team's first field commander under the code name HAWK. After leading the G.I.JOE team on several successful missions, HAWK received his first general star.

For most generals, this new-found responsibility would require them to stay well protected away from battle so as to properly command their teams. HAWK chose not to follow this path. He earns his experience on the battlefield like the rest of his team, and he makes absolutely certain that he doesn't dole out orders and assign missions that he wouldn't be willing to carry out himself. It's that kind of attitude that inspires his troops, knowing that the one in charge is still one of them. YO JOE!

The General Hawk 12 inch Figure features: Prometheus Body ver. 1.2 with over 30+ points of articulation, Highly Detailed and Hand Painted General Hawk Portrait, Detailed G1 Flight Jacket with Affixed Ribbon Rack and Badge, BDU Fabric Shirt with Affixed Badges, BDU Fabric Pants, Helmet, Go-Bag, MOLLE Belt, Riggers Belt, Shoulder Holster, .357 Revolver, 2x Speedloader, 2x Speedloader Pouch, Drop-Leg Holster, .45 Caliber Pistol, 2x .45 Caliber Pistol Magazines, Robinson Arms XCR(tm) PDW Rifle with Holographic Weapons Sight and 5x Magpul(R) PMAGs + Single Point Rifle Sling, 2x Universal Mag Pouches, XMLR-1 Laser Rifle, LMF Knife, LMF Knife Rig, 3x Frag Grenade, 2x Smoke Genade, Tactical Hand Held Radio, Water Bottle, Water Bottle Pouch, Wristwatch, Goggles, Shoulder & Nametape Patches, Dog Tags, Generous Assortment of Interchangeable Hands, 2x Pairs Detailed Switch Out Buckle Boots, including standing and action posed, 1:6 Scale GI JOE Figure Stand

Sideshow Collectibles is certainly expanding this line quite a bit, with loads of Joes and Cobra being pumped out for collectors and fans alike. There doesn't seem to be an end in sight which is good considering how they hung out to dry some other lines after picking it up and sparking collectors' interest. One example would be The Lord of the Rings figures; they didn't even bother completing the Fellowship of the Ring :(

Here's General Hawk posing with Flint and Duke, all standing firm and standing proud. Hoo-YAH!
